What is Packaging Tape?

Also known as box sealing tape, we offer a wide assortment of packaging tapes which are extensively used for packing purposes of diverse products. Fabricated from premium quality raw materials, these tapes ensure excellent adhesion and high durability.

Printed and custom-logo packaging tape

Seal every box with your brand. Easitape prints packaging tape in-house for branding, advertising, colour coding and security. Printed packaging tape is one of the most specialised products we manufacture.

We print the artwork under the surface of the tape, which prevents smudging, cracking and ink transfer and gives the print a longer life. We use an acrylic adhesive rather than a hot-melt adhesive for a firmer bond to the box.

Specifications

Material: BOPP printed tape, 28 micron, acrylic adhesive, 22 g coating weight (product code P007)
Print colours: up to 4 colours, including a floodcoated background, with Pantone colours matched as closely as possible
Tape colours we print on: clear/buff, white, blue, green, red, yellow, pink and orange
Widths and lengths: Available in, among others, 48mm x 50m, 48mm x 100m, 48mm x 1000m, 68mm x 50m, 68mm x 100m, 72mm x 50m, 72mm x 100m and 72mm x 1000m. Our most common size is 48mm x 50m.
Minimum order: Minimum order quantities on request; they depend on the print method (flexo or gravure) and the tape width and length.
Lead time: 21 working days
Security tape: diagonal patterns that are very hard to match once the seal has been cut, so tampering shows

How ordering works

1. Send us your logo or artwork.
2. We come back with a proof for you to check.
3. You approve the proof, colours and quantities.
4. We print your tape in-house.
5. We deliver your tape, or you collect it from our Internal Sales Office & Collections at 10 Forge Road, Spartan.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can Easitape print my company logo on packaging tape?
A: Yes. We print custom logos and messages on packaging tape in-house, for branding, advertising, colour coding and security.

Q: How many colours can you print on tape?
A: We print up to 4 colours, including a floodcoated background colour, and match Pantone colours as closely as possible. Send us your artwork and we'll confirm how it will print.

Q: Will the print smudge or rub off?
A: No. We print under the surface of the tape, so the ink is protected from smudging, cracking and transfer. You can test it by rubbing sanitiser or alcohol over the artwork.
